Untitled design 10 - The New Copenhagen Table

I imagine being in the city of Copenhagen, Denmark, sitting by Nyhavn, sipping coffee, being mesmerized by colorful townhouses and the distant sound of laughter. A gentle breeze carries tales of Danish history as the sun dips below the horizon.

Copenhagen’s allure is undeniable, from its enchanting canals and historic architecture to its modern design sensibilities and eco-conscious culture. Beauty thrives in its harmonious blend of past and present. Scandinavian furniture designs are known for their minimalist elegance, functionality, and natural materials. Characterized by clean lines, light colors, and a focus on practicality, they embody simplicity and timeless beauty in home decor.

The Scandinavian design and the eco-conscious culture is what beautifully inspires our new dining table named the Copenhagen Table.

Scandinavian design, known for its minimalism and functionality, is a harmonious blend of form and function. Characterized by clean lines, natural materials, and timeless elegance, it exemplifies simplicity’s enduring beauty and practicality, making it a global design icon. These characteristics are embodied in this new table. The Copenhagen Table is designed to be clean and uncluttered, reflecting the typical designs found in showrooms and homes across Scandinavia. This dining table is crafted out of reclaimed solid Douglas fir, used to gracefully withstand daily use.

Even though we craft our furniture in Los Angeles, California, 5590 miles away from Copenhagen, we think the best way to enjoy our favorite travel memories is to bring aspects of it into our home. Having the Copenhagen Table, decorating with a lamp from HAY, and perhaps a painting by Carl Holsøe, we can bring the Danish designs into our own homes.
